Question for the Season Finale (maybe spoilery)

What about Sarge(Jack's horse)?!?!? Did the flood waters sweep him away to his doom? Or was he in a scene towards the end of the episode that I missed?

I assumed Sarge avoided the flood water when he threw Jack and ran. Jack would have most likely avoided the water himself if he hadn't been knocked unconscious in the fall.
