Jennifer Lawrence has opened up about one of her biggest concerns about doing her first nude scene (in Red Sparrow): the appearance of her nipples. The 27-year-old actress made the candid confession during an appearance on Ellen DeGeneres's talk show, admitting that she was so focused on how her nipples might look that she actually berated the crew after they made the set too warm.
After Ellen asked why Jennifer the actress decided to strip down on camera for the very first time, after she previously insisted that she would never go naked in a movie. "I think I finally just got hot," Jennifer laughed.

Jennifer Lawrence said in a profile with Vanity Fair that she was wary of appearing nude in her new movie, Red Sparrow following a 2014 hack that leaked her nude photos online. "Red Sparrow really scared the hell out of me because I get nude," Lawrence said. "I tried to do the movie without nudity but realized it just wouldn't be right to put the character through something that I, myself, am not willing to go through. My biggest fear was that people would say, 'Oh, how can you complain about the hack if you're going to get nude anyway?' I ultimately realized that there was a difference between consent and not and I showed up for the first day and I did it and I felt empowered. I feel like something that was taken from me I got back and am using in my art."

Jennifer Lawrence's said during an interview that she was very nervous at first about her nudity. "There's one particular scene in the movie where your nightmare comes true from grade school, where you're standing naked in front of a classroom full of people. So that became a reality, but it actually wasn't that bad."
She felt it then became empowering, especially being naked in front of all those actors and crew. In fact she hinted that she became so used to it while filming that scene that she didn't bother putting on a robe between takes.
She just walked around naked, which she joked made everyone else uncomfortable. "Because I'd be like, 'I don't want the robe. I'm hot. I'm eating.' Everybody's like, 'She needs to cover up.'"
