Loved it!
It was brutal, surprising and really honest.
Very good film, and i was not bored for one second.

Saw this last night. I thought it was pretty good but perhaps a little too sexually aggressive for a spy thriller. It's almost as if they were trying to make an erotic thriller/spy film but came up a little short. I also do think "action" takes a backseat in this one. I don't think I would even categorize this as an action film. it's more like drama/suspense with some action thrown in here and there.
I do have to question the way they portray the Sparrow training programs in this. Which brings me to my favorite line in the movie... "you sent me to whore school"...lol... you could also say "slut school" and it would be appropriate as well. haha...
Not sure this is how you would train a spy in the ways of seduction but I read an article on this topic and according to one former CIA agent, this is an accurate portrayal of such programs. The story was written by a former CIA man as well. So, take it as you will but I think there could be just a hint of propaganda going on here.
The first 45 minutes of this film are rather crappy. It doesn't really pick-up until the last hour or so, and some of the things that happen during this time don't make a lot of sense until the end.
Still, the ending is quite good and the suspense does intensify as the movie progresses. I'll give it a 6.5 out of 10.
Here's a link to the article I read on Sparrow training and how it's portrayed in the movie... its an interesting read -

It's a great movie. A lot sleazier and grittier than most mainstream spy movies nowadays. Not sure how Francis Lawrence got away with it.
