Female Bond? Will this be a series or standalone movie?

Will this be a series or a standalone movie? My understanding is that the author is writing a follow up novel to the one Red Sparrow is based on...

Also, if serialised will this be the female James Bond?

I have to admit, I like the idea of seeing a seductress spy movie, but I generally don't like series...

Thoughts?

Seeing how this did not make its money back this will be a stand alone, however it’s a great movie I don’t see why her character would want to continueing being a spy she did what she did for a reason and she made sure she could be let free of that life @ the end.
