Oops! the movie is based on a myth.
I think Besson maybe should have looked up the whole 10% brain myth on google or something before spending several years of his life making a movie about it.

The myth everyone likes to claim was debunked was derived from a misunderstanding... the claim we use only 10% of our brains is hogwash. However we do use about 10% of our brains at any given moment, not the same 10% and it depends what we're doing which parts are in use. This has been proven... you just need to get the statement right!
