Comparing Nightcrawler to The Voice to Let the Right One In

So my friend and I watched Nightcrawler last night and he compared Lou to the Jerry from the voice in the way they possibly have a blur between what is right and wrong. After sleeping on it I find that these characters are similar but I have come to the conclusion that they are similar to the murderous duo on from Let the Right One In. Jake is to Oskar as is Jerry to Eli.
Jake and Oskar begin and end with evil, and thrive from there actions. Even though neither of them are directly murder anyone they both are fine with people dying if it ends in their favor.
On the other end, both Jerry and Eli have no desire to bring harm to anyone really, but they both have predispositions that cause or force them to (DNA and childhood trauma). Maybe Ryan Reynolds and Jake Gyllenhaal should run away together
