Wishful thinking

It's just another propaganda movie in the same line as Pretty Woman and many others like that.
In the real world the rich and powerful want access to all the young and pretty girls, not to marry them, but just to have fun with them for a short while until they find and even younger and prettier one.
To get this access they create a phantasy world suggesting to young girls that any girl, even prostitutes, can find a rich prince and marry him and sure enough, well over 90% of all young girls are falling for the propaganda, ignoring all the non rich men, wasting their 20s with one night stands with rich men, just to hit "the wall" when they turn 30 and discover not only was none of their one night stands willing to marry them, past 30 nobody wants them anymore.

The end result movies like this one lead to in the real world is that 75% of all men in their 20s never had a girlfriend and most of the women in their 30s are single, many of them even single mothers.
