if you see this film as anti-israeli propaganda
I'd examine the film a little more closely.
Blaming the Israelis for what happened is simplistic. Omar participates in the murder of a human being at the starting of the movie. Had he acted differently, the outcome of his life would have been different.
It's one thing to declare war and fight. It's another to commit an act of murder and then go home and act like it didn't happen and expect to be able to carry on with your life.
This is very much a film without a right or wrong. There is no black and white here. What the Israelis do is wrong. What Omar does is wrong. What both of his friends do is wrong. And the result of all of this things is more wrong.
I can see how, at first glance, this film might appear to be propaganda. I don't think it is. That soldier they killed had a family.
