LOL, just because its about amnesia it doesnt make it a rip-off of every movie that deal with this issue. I guess all romantic comedies and horror movies are also rip-off of each other. By some of you probably Hard Candy is also a rip-off of Misery.

You see that piece of sh!t The Gallows? I ran into a 9/10 review from Steve P and was like WTF is this mofo doing some cash work for shilling these days,lol.
Best thing I've seen in a while, while many will disagree, was Harbinger Down. Loved that little rift off of the original The Thing, actually raised my hair a little bit at times, I love that total isolation biological mimicking mutating craziness. Was well done for a unknown indie flick. Check that sucker out, acting wasn't the best except for Lance Henriksen, he's got the goods, he just accepts unflattering gigs in horrible films most of the time.
5.69784/10  A nice precise score! Yeah, Steve even got a pat on the head from the director of The Gallows. He must have been trippin' when he watched it.
I passed on The Harbinger a couple of times, but if my main kneegrow says it's good then I guess I'll watch it after Terminator Gen tomorrow. A perfect copy has appeared on the Torrents.

I caught T. Genysis last night, it was decent flick, a fitting permanent end to the franchise, may it rest now forever in peace! You'll feel what I'm saying when it's all said and done, the Terminator teats have been milked dead dry now. Emilia Clarke was kinda meh in it, seemed a bit too cutesy for the badass Sarah Connor we knew from the past. Jai Courtney wasn't a whole lotta help on the other end either though, I guess that's why it bombed at the BO.
shareWhile this may not be the proper place to discuss Terminator, I'm fairly certain it didn't do so great (it didn't "bomb" since it made a lot of money) at the box office because the young crowd, who are the primary movie goers, are not familiar with the Terminator series. The first one came out in 1984 and too much time passed between sequels. If you were 18 when Terminator came out, you'd be 49 now! I've seen them all though and have enjoyed following the story over the years.
shareInteresting maths about the time-frame for the Terminator series! I was 14 when the 1st one came out and I am 45 now. But I think that's part of the appeal; loving something so unique in one's teens and getting to relive it over and over (and grow old alongside Arnie!) in one's middle age. Not just for the young but for those who wish to remember their youth. I think I will rewatch them all first and then enjoy the finale.
shareI think that's why I still get excited about new Terminator movies as well, because my parents had the first one on VHS when I was kid and I remember watching it when I was like 10 haha. I don't go to the theater that often though. Teens and folks in their early 20s, on the other hand, go to theater quite a bit and I doubt many of them have seen the first two Terminator movies.
On a side note, I thought Arnold was great in the latest film. He made me chuckle several times :)
I agree. I also don't mind remakes for that reason. I like to see more of what I love. It's also interesting, like art, to see another take on it. If it sucks oh well. No loss for me.

Its not so much about Hollywood running out of ideas. It's just that most producers refuse to give "no-name" writers a chance. Their scripts end up on the bottom of the trash-bin, while they recycle CRAP like this to attach a name with credentials to their production for dear life!

I can't remember French names or titles, it all sounds like food. Anyone?
See that film, by the way. It was truly hilarious. Only the French could make a topic like IBS funny. The "mudslide" scene is equal parts comedic genius, and extreme nausea.
They have similarities but it's not a complete rip off at all, BEFORE I GO TO SLEEP actually had a plot that sustained more than 30 minutes of interest

Saw the movie on redbox and came here specifically to comment this, glad other people have noticed it too. And I freaking loved that book so having it made into a movie, (which kind of ruins the experience when u know what's going to happen in a thriller) and subsequently ripped off by this movie; is a total disappointment and waste of time.
