Not my cup of tea

So this is a very subjective point of view but I think this film is pretty bad. It's basically layer upon layer of ridiculous over the top action that makes a James Bond movie look restrained and believable, sandwiched between gloppy dollops of sentimentality a Hallmark producer would blush at. Which is actually the same structure as the average John Ford film but he did it right (most of the time) and these didn't. Some of the action was OK, watching Michelle Rodriguez was OK - but I don't think I'll bother watching any more of the franchise.

I like this one because it was a lot more grounded in reality compared to Fate and Furious and F9

'more grounded in reality' - if you really mean that then I'm definitely not watching any more of them.

The action started getting crazy in the Fate and Furious and F9. In this one, other than the cars parachuting out of airplanes, what was so crazy? And the parachuting scene maybe isn't so crazy after all since Tej was the architect of that stunt and he is a genius

It's surprising that you managed to watch seven of these films, seven, before deciding this wasn't the film series for you.

I could understand some people finding the second, third or even fourth entries as a bridge too far but it seems kind of odd to decide to give up specifically after this one.
