when the mom almost killed her baby!!

When Valentin use the his biometric handprint to activate the virus to make everyone all over the world beat the crap out of each other--

Egsy's mom was given a heads up to lock her daughter into the bathroom- but once the virus was activated she went nuts and stated to hack the bathroom door with a cleaver. That baby at first look peculiar that mommy was banging on the door, then got real scared and started to cry once mommy was half way to the door looking deranged. I hated that scene so much. *even though we know Eggsy is gonna prevail, it did not make that scene less bearable. can you imagine how many mom and dad who did not get a chance to lock their kids up...... ugh stupid movie.

don't get me wrong the movie was entertaining at best.. but that church scene was insane I though it was a fake out at first. ๐Ÿ˜’

reply

Uh...not to sound mean, but it was a scene in a movie. Get over it

reply

I mean the scene was effective. The movie was entertaining, I just hate when kids get hurt or just the implication of it for entertainment in movies or tv shows . When the toddler started to cry in fear when she was hacking at the door with the cleaver. I was like awww poor thing ๐Ÿ˜—

reply

Ah...that's something different. I actually felt sorry for both if them

reply

Well that's good, shows that you are mentally sane.

I also feel real uncomfortable by the scene, but it show the threat of the villain's plan, we basically only see people beaten up each other in the streets or the beach like a "harmless" bar fight scene.

The scene was very serious and make us think was its like when people kill each other.

*beep* me. Females are so pathetically, illogically, uncontrollably, irrationally emotional. Can you not for a minute separate fantasy from your hard wired, primeval mothering instincts?

reply

Is being empathic really so bad?
Upside down world.

biological... cant do anything about it

reply

There's nothing stupid about it. Children gets killed everyday due to negligence or even through deliberation...it's not something that only happens in movies...
People from all background/age/sex got brutally killed in that movie, a child's life isn't more valuable than everyone else...
It's just a movie, only a hypocrite/sheeple would be so troubled by a child's death in a movie while being entertained by the brutal murder of thousands of teenagers/adult characters

reply

You really need to watch more disaster movies then.

reply

Guarantee that the mother's actress and the child were not in the same room during the child's reaction shots of being afraid. And that the child was in no harm when they were acting afraid.

Communism was just a red herring!

People like you shouldn't have children

Sort of reminded me of the scene in "The Shining". "Heeeeeere's Johnny!"
