I envision John Galt flying over the country in a gondola-like device, monologue-ing his speech, much in the same manner Kevin Costner did in "The Postman"

I had once suggested that Galt's speech be a voiceover while showing scenes from the book from the time Reardon Steel is attacked until Dagny is knocking at Galt's tenament door.

Don't forget we have to have that sweet rescue scene (no, not really) from the science institute carried out with one revolver and a lot of good old fashioned hard work and genius.

I think the 50-page speech was in part 1 of the book. Part 3 is cool, with John Galt getting tortured, zero-point energy, the USA falling apart without its productive citizens, and the government grinding the economy to a halt. Should be good.
