I'm guessing there will be a full reading of Galt's speech as an extra on the DVD. No way in hell is the complete speech making it into the film.

What's wrong with writing under the influence of amphetamines? Some of the best art of our limited existence was created under the influence of opium/liquor/acid/amphetamines/other stimulants. I'm no Rand apologist, but her use of narcotics does nothing to devalue her philosophy or her contributions to world literature. If anything, it elevates it by placing her in the company of luminaries like Vincent Van Gogh, Lord Byron, William Faulkner, Hunter S. Thompson, Lewis Carroll, Thomas Jefferson, Winston Churchill, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Oscar Wylde, Miles Davis, Johnny Cash & Kurt Cobain, among others. If you think that rational thought derives solely from sober people, you are a child.
