Makes me appreciate the Twilight franchise, in comparison

Stephenie Meyer is a better writer than Ayn Rand.

Twilight has more interesting, diverse characters.

Twilight is less heavy-handed.

Twilight fans are less fanatical and more agreeable.

Twilight fans are actually willing to admit that they might be wrong about a few things.

Don't get me wrong: Twilight is mind-numbingly stupid, and its fans are moronic. But as I watch the Atlas Shrugged movies and listen to its fans, I look back on the Twilight franchise, and I can't help but think--I suppose it wasn't that bad, after all.

Hey, credit where credit is due. The Twilight folks managed to make *five movies* with the same cast. These guys couldn't get two in a row.

When I first saw Twilight, I thought "I wish Mystery Science Theater 3000 was still around". Then I found out they're now RiffTrax, they'd already done Twilight, and it was awesome. I hope they do this one, because I think it would be even better.
