Subtlety was never Rand's strong suit, but at least they shortened the speech for the movie. In the book, that's where she carefully repeats everything she's been repeating for the last several hundred pages - in case the reader has somehow missed it.
At least, as a sort of bible, it was more consistent between its old and new testaments with Jesus Galt repeating what was said in the first part of the book, as opposed to The Bible where Jesus is being a bit contrary to the first half of that book.
