Excellent. The timing looks off because of the transformation speed. But it's not. Don't forget these people have no sense of time at all within the Shimmer!

shareThey're all being sort of Annihilated. Weird stuff is happening because of the shimmer leading to a climax at the lighthouse. She's black so her fate is like no consideration for the shimmer, which is beautiful and smart, high quality. It's dreamy stuff of annihilation.... which actually makes sense. You want it to lead to a climax, so it's gotta get hyper towards the end. You just take the neat film effect and forget it.... that's what I did. I thought it was a cool movie effect. Just get rid of the problematic black girl by making her disappear.
