The mutant bear scene
It reminded me of a few Hunger Games mutants who assimilate the dead tributes done in the R rated way HG should have done!

shareBut the R rated HG is called Battle Royale ;)
shareI don't know if it reminded me of HG, but that bear was scaaary! Imagine that thing, with human screams coming out of it, that close to your face! Great scene, and great creature.
shareI thought the bear was the highlight and peak of the film. It actually overshadowed and made the ending fee a little anti climatic. Like the bear was cooler then the duplicates.
shareI agree... it was all downhill for me after the bear.
shareYes, that mutated bear was stuff of nightmares, pretty unsettling - that something I haven’t seen before. If you think about it, it’s pretty hard to come up with something new these days. More than likely it’s already been done before in some shape of form, but that freaky looking bear with human screams - win. I’ve been seeing movies for over 30 years and I don’t think i’ve seen such bear before. And when I saw those “tree corpse/people” it kinda reminded me of The Last Of Us vibe.

it was so creepy and well done!
That bear was, by far, my favorite thing about the movie. Creepy as hell.
sharePoor bear! Now at last, we know what happened to Gentle Ben from the Grizzly Adams series.
