I think you misunderstood what I meant, Ddey. I was saying that the reason that Liv's relationship with Holden and Maddie's relationship with Josh didn't work out was because Dove was going out with Ryan and didn't want to kiss someone other than Ryan. Even if it was just for the show.

Not that she wasn't sad when "Liv and Maddie" ended, but it didn't end b/c of poor ratings. It was no surprise to anyone.
There's kind of an unwritten rule that Disney Channel shows don't run longer than four seasons...though plenty have had only one or two. It's a sign of success if a show lasts four seasons.
But what about the kissing scene with Braeden Lemasters in "Monsterville: Cabinet of Souls" which was filmed while Dove and Ryan were together?
There's also a kissing scene in "Cloud 9" with Luke Benward, but I'm not sure if that was filmed before or after they started dating.
If anything I think Dove either cheated or just wanted to explore other options. Ryan seems to be ready to get back together with her and she's just not into it anymore.
