I like Liv more than Maddie

When this show first started I thought I was gonna like Maddie more. I just thought Liv was going to be traditional good looking, vapid character. Even though they are played by the same actress, Maddie seemed the cuter of the two because she didn't have the traditional beauty.

But Liv has really grown on me. First of all, I love her outfits. I love that Liv wears a lot of skirts and dresses. Not many girls wear dresses and skirts as everyday attire these days. There's nothing wrong with pants and being comfortable but I feel like if you feel cute, you look cute.

Although, I think you meant "If you look cute, you feel cute." Not the other way around.

Plus, I think Maddie has been a little self centered lately.

Liv's relationship with Holden ended because of Maddie asking her not to set things right with Nancy O'Dell. And it didn't matter anyway since Diggie knew that was Maddie all along. So the end to Liv's relationship was all for not.

Then Liv decided to stay in Wisconsin and give up a major TV role to stay with her sister and then Maddie decides to just up and go to California without even talking to Liv about it first knowing what Liv had sacrificed for her and their sisterly relationship.

I like the first way better. Perception is reality. If you feel cute then it will show. The other way has merit, but to me it is more superficial

Maddie has definitely become very self-centered and one dimensional. I remember when this show first started , Liv was almost a background character with bland B-plots. It's amazing how far her character has come and I wish she would stop feeling like she has to appease Maddie all the time.

And now Liv nearly gets blacklisted in Hollywood because she gave up her role on Skyvolt for Maddie and then Maddie up and left her and moved to SoCal without her. It nearly cost Liv her career that she was building up into a respectable career.

I've never cared for the high-register, girly-girl voice Dove affected for Liv. (Liv's voice was normal in the series premiere.) Her voice for Maddie — normal to slightly lower — made Maddie more down-to-earth.

I liked Maddie more until this season. Liv always seemed a bit ding-batty but with a heart of gold. Maddie always seemed like someone I could relate to if I were another Ridgewood High student. But now Maddie's getting on my nerves. Her competitive nature's become an addiction; Maddie sees everything as a contest to "bam what?!" someone and I don't think she gets how arrogant that appears. If L&M were still recording new episodes (I don't know; have they wrapped up the series?) I'd love to see an episode where Maddie is taken down about three notches, and learns a big life lesson in humility.

Yeah, I know filankey is not a word, but it's gonna catch on.

Yes, filming wrapped for the series a few months ago. The series finale is scheduled to air in March 2017.

Definitely Maddie.

There's something to be said for a girly-girl, but I'll prefer a pretty tomboy any time.

To me it's not a tomboy vs. girly-girl thing. I actually liked Maddie better to begin with, but over the past couple of seasons Maddie's wants, needs, and desires have always superseded Liv's with no regard how it affects Liv, her feelings, or her life. And then Maddie can't seem to understand why Liv would be hurt and upset. That has really turned me off of Maddie. As well as the whole on again/off again thing with Diggy. He was never an interesting character to begin with.
