Obviously Disney tends to always have a top Star every era

Who takes that Spot Dove Cameron or Sabrina Carpenter

I love Dove and Sabrina it's close but Sabrina is a bit ahead of Dove.

Both have good shows but Sabrina has had stronger moments.

Dove was good in Descendants as for Sabrina her movie Adventures in Babysitting is on the way, so that isn't a factor yet

Sabrina has a better singing career, although Dove has a equally great voice

I'd have to go with Sabrina because she has both Acting and Singing careers on full speed, Once Dove releases a album and Sabrina's movie drops we will see if Sabrina remains on top

Dove Cameron is number one right now for disney. Lead in their best series, Rowan is the lead in GMW, two DComs, she is queen mousketeer right now.

Absent from your list is Miley, she was between Hillary and before Selena, Selena had a window at the end I do agree, but Cyrus was the it girl of all it girls for disney

I agree with you, but I took the statement to be about who was disney's number one "princess" I think Debby was with her movies and having a 4 year series. Certainly Zendaya could argue for that as well.

As far as singing actresses go, I'd have to pic Dove on top, with Laura Marano at a somewhat distant number 2. And it's not like I hate Sabrina, because I don't. In fact, I think her cover of "Who I Am" was better than Ross Lynch and the rest of R5.

Also, as an aside we probably need to add Demi Lavoto in the list as well.

I feel like the whole Disney superstar thing died when Selena and Miley left. I don't see any of the new girls having big singing careers or leads in theatrical movies. I wouldn't put Debby in that place either, I'd put Bridgit Mendler, she was a lot famous than Debby I feel like.

Same. These girls are here today gone tomorrow stars. No ones gonna give a crap about smoke and fire next month but party in the usa and naturally and demi's vocals alone are still remembered and cherished today. These girls better soak it up while they can. Zendaya is surviving because of blacks because we dont have a lot of young black stars that are big. I dont care for her personally but thats where her appeal is

There is a difference between "top" star and person the channel just wants to pimp onto the public til people get sick of seeing them.

When theres no more room in Hollywood, remakes shall walk the Earth.

This is Carpenter and Cameron all day every hour!!! Sabrina especially is getting used a lot to bring in the coins, that's why they shifted gmw from Riley to Maya. They're really pushing Sabrina, that's why she has the best episodes and best action on Girl Meets World. The show was about Cory and Topanga's daughter but people care more about Maya and they know this plus they're pushing Sabrina so the show seems like it's hers low-key but they're just saying rowan is the star.

They didnt have to do that with miley, demi,selena, raven, or hilary because they all shined on their own shows and with their music, these other girls are just competing

I think Disney is trying so hard to push the two. I think they are trying really hard to push Sofia Carson too. Acting wise, I think Sofia has the edge over the other 2. Dove is too over the top for my liking, while I feel like Sabrina under acts sometimes, but I still think she's better than Dove. Singing wise, I think Dove is the best, though I feel that she overdoes it in Liv and Maddie sometimes. Sofia is good, but I think she tries too hard. Sabrina is also good, but her voice is kinda nasaly. I feel like Sofia is too old to be the new face of Disney though,and she looks it too, not in an "old" way but in a mature way. I think Sabrina will be the new "it" girl since GMW was just canceled. She has her music yeah, but now the spot is open for them to give her her own show.
