It was just sad to see his prodigy son to end up like a loser living in his dad basement

There is a segment from the times when he was a genius boy. So super smart and bright future in front of him. This is how they describe video

And then he grew up and now looks like a bearded hobo loser. Its like all that smartness is gone. And he himself mentioned that he is not doing well.

What has happened to him? So many cases when child geniuses can’t become adult geniuses and just vanish.

Its like articles about him stopped in 2017. Like he was this genius boy going to achieve huge success. And then nothing. Did his brains stopped working in genius mode once he became adult?

Yes. This broke my heart. He sounds beaten down. It’s mentioned in season 2 that the wife lied in his school records. She probably groomed him to sound smart so she’d look good. She wrote a book about him and yet he saw none of the money.
