Bridgit Mendler is fitting in well with this cast

Bridgit's character is a really good fit with this show. I really liked her in the episode tonight which was kind of about her. She kind of completes the cast.

Not just that but they needed a female who wasn't always a Debbie Downer to the gang. That's why I hated
Sabrina. She had no reason to stick around.

Candace's youth and optimism kind of reminds me of Taylor Swift. It's a nice contrast to Danny.

I feel like the atmosphere they are going for in this show is that they allow the characters to react to the nonsense like real people would among a group of friends. I don't think they are directing the actors to ignore absurd things that other characters are doing like the way TV normally does with characters who are not the focal point of a comedic scene.

The rest of the actors have been doing this since the beginning of the series, and I haven't noticed it nearly as much from Mendler as I have from the other actors, especially Ron Funches in the finale.

I think all of the actors broke. Some broke the fourth wall on purpose.

Shes ditzy and annoying I wish they wrote a better character, I dont care who plays the part but the character is not funny, and that episode with her boyfriend I only watched it because I still like the other characters.

they have made her a lot better in the latest episodes Im glad, I like her a lot more now! The episode have picked up paced altogether. Her character has grown on me. Trent has not yet.

She's the only reason I decided to try the show out. And she's great.

Helps that she kinds super cute. That said there always seems to be really odd close up shots of her just staring at the others.... but in an awkward way.

^ Give Bridgit time.

Not only you are talking about a 22 yr old mixing with a bunch of 30 + yr olds who have been together for two seasons. But Bridgit's background has been that of family oriented programming on the DC and movies.

She's coming into an environment that not only is more adult based but on a major network and airing live. I actually think it will take time for her to adjust.
