If it had continued it should have gone back to the original format. For me the Live thing had run its course. And, by the end I found Chris D'Elia super-annoying. Over-performing in every single scene. He and Whitney had become my least favorites in the cast.
I will miss it, however.
I find it rather humorous that Whitney stated she got her own show canned, and then used the fact as a joke in a live show about Undateble, only to end up getting it canned as well..
I went to several tapings of the show, both scripted and live and found the pace of the live shows to be much better, however the scripted ones were more polished, although not 5hrs worth imo.
I hope Whitney keeps herself out of the other shows she has her name on, they all seem to end up getting sh!tcanned. Although, in fairness, her own show sucked whereas Undateable was a good comedy that had a good cast and decent premise.
I hope TBS or some other cable network picks it up, and tells Whitney to take a hike and maybe do a live show once or twice a season as they are fun. But half the cast are improv comics, so letting them loose on TV is no different than why SNL hasn't been 'Live' for eons... Tho SNL stopped being funny after Chris Farley but that's another topic.
So, lets hope some other network picks it up with less restrictions and they keep everyone except Whitney.. I always enjoyed watching Bridget sing and dance (which she's quite good at) and the interactions between everyone.
