Stop seeing Travis completely? Things were going okay until she got the note on her car and then Travis said they broke up because he was losing his faith.
But what evidence was there to support that claim? She knew about his sexual activities so she obviously wasn't bothered by that. I could understand her wanting to keep her distance until Jodi was completely out of his life, but that was never brought up.
There was a scene written where Katie broke up with Travis because he pushed things a little too far with her sexually. He stopped, but one beat too late. She got angry with him, and he apologized. "Okay. I went too far... I get it," he said. She shot back, "Well, I guess Jodi got you used to that..." And she jumped into her car and raced off.
The scene was cut for timing reasons, but the writers fought hard to get them to put it back in. Without the break up scene, Travis letting Jodi back in to his house made no sense. But they still left it out. And there's some reason to believe they never even shot the break up scene.
Movie would have been much better if they left it in.
