I attended the premiere on Friday. The audience cheered when the brothers shook hands and introduced themselves. We loved that they played it cool and pretended to not know eachother even if it's hard to believe considering they bith live in the same house.
Arissa announces she's gonna reveal that they're brothers after the break and during the break a lot of us kept saying not to reveal. We were all against it. Ithink I heard Arissa say something like "sorry but we can't change the plans"
I get they have a schedule and all but yeah it was a horrible decision. They should have put Nick with the last group that was only 4.
it'd be more unfair for the housemates not to know they were siblings... because then the brothers could easily play separate games but know they have each other 100%. Every other housemate is a complete stranger to one another... so think of it from their perspective. The only fair way is for them to be acknowledged together.. its how its always been done when twins/siblings play.

Remember that these people have nothing else to do except sit around talking strategy and gossiping. It wouldn't take too long before the brothers spill enough information that people could figure out that, at minimum, they already know each other.
I mean, they'll slip and mention that they are from the same town, support the same hockey team, mention a brother, and so on. When the other players begin to suspect them of a pre-existing relationship, they'll mistrust them and vote them out sooner rather than later.
Big Brother protected them by outing them. No one should care too much about them since they only count as one vote. being two people doesn't help them in any way except that they have more options to talk to people and plot. But, they have the distinct disadvantage in that they aren't twins and thus will disagree on strategy most of the time.

I think twins can also disagree on strategy. In fact, I think one of the twins liked Jeff and voted to save him despite Austin wanted him evicted (which he was).
I think it was really just a bombshell that they wanted to do and they got it out of the way. This is BBCAN. They want to make announcements every week.
Week 1 was the brothers.
Week 2 are the Wildcarfs entering
Week 3 they'll probably do something with Jace and Veronica since they weren't on the side show.
Throw in a double eviction and of course Easter weekend will be an Instant Eviction.
