What's going on with Ramsey? *spoilers* - Big Brother Canada (2013) Discussion

Yeah that is all we know. Maybe someone in his family died? I think it was Kelsey who said "that was one of my biggest fears coming into the house" (or something like that)

I wonder what they will do if he does go? Will they re-do HOH since one of the brother's noms left? This has never happened on BBCA has it?

It's never happened in Canada but similar things have happened in USA.

Season 11 Michelle won HOH and I believe nominated Chima and Lydia. Chima then threw her microphone in the pool and was expelled from the game. What would have been the POV comp became the new HOH comp and I guess they did another POV comp. I remember it was supposed to be the only double eviction of the season the week.

Season 14 the 2nd week Frank was HOH and I think was going to nominate Willie. But Wilie was expelled before the nominations but they still continued on.

Yeah in BB16 both Frankie and Derricks grandpas died and I think it was up to them if they wanted to share the info

Yeah death in the family. But I don't I ow what exactly happened with Ramsey so I didn't mention death.

I was referring more about someone leaving while they are already on the block.

They cut the feeds any time somebody brings it up. I can only assume a death in the family. I feel horrible for him but he shouldn't get to leave and come back.

I just wonder as this developes and he is leaving and coming back if any of this will air on the show. Lately a lot of stuff has been happening on the feeds but never make it to air. I'm not saying they should expose in detail what's going on with Ramsey's personal life. If a death has happened they should respect the families privacy. I just think of he is leaving and coming back it should be mentioned on the show.

I've checked Ramsey's twitter page that his family is handling and it hasn't been updated for the day.

The way everyone is acting it sounds like Ramsey is leaving for good. Maddy sure thinks so.

BUT....

HG's have been told that the POV comp will happen tonight instead of Sunday. Ramsey will participate.

What happens if he wins and saves himself? Or if he is leaving permanently saves Maddy then Phil/Nick need to re-nom two people? And what about another POV comp?

Interesting to see how this pans out game wise.

Feel bad for Ramsey though.

The veto always happens on Saturday afternoon.

Friday - Nominations

Saturday - pick veto players and veto comp

Monday - veto ceremony

Thursday - eviction

Not sure when HN comps are exactly.

But not sure the timing of telling him this makes sense. But like I said production is stupid. Like tell him now and have him leave before the comp. what's the point if he might come back to tell him before pov and distract him. Or tell him after the comp.

But it makes sense to just have the comp tomorrow. Tell him today and he leaves ans comes back. If not have the pov be the HOH comp, and treat it like a double eviction week.

Well the POV comp lasted almost 6 hours

Ramsey won

So what happens now?

Still no concrete news as every time Ramsey's situation is brought up, BB tells everyone to shut up, and feeds go dark for 5-10 min

As of 10am today Ramsey is still in the house - hasn't left yet

He never left? I checked at 8am on JokersUpdates and feeds went black at 6:59am.

He was still there between 9-10am this morning as feeds fluttered in and out minute by minute but feeds have been down all day since about 10am so I assume Ramsey has left since and they are guarding the secret?

Will Ramsey's absence be explained tonight? Will Arisa do a live update on tonight's show? Or will BB try to ignore it until mid-week?

With their pattern to date tonight's show should simply include up to the noms with promos for POV mid-week. Ramsey's problem didn't happen until a day after that.

Interesting to see how they handle it. If they decide to wait they'll have to keep the feeds down for 3 more days won't they to hide what happens?

I'm not sure how the leaving and coming back thing works but if he doesn't leave for good they may not mention it at all. If they keep telling them not to talk about it and cutting feeds when they do they really seem to want to keep it as much a secret as they can.

I wouldn't be shocked if they don't mention it at all. The podcasts will be interesting after the show tonight with the live feeders.

It's stupid on productions part for trying to keep all this a secret. If they mention it all nobody will care and drop it. But because they want to hide everything it makes more people speculating and dragging the situation further.

Well as predicted... no mention of Ramsey on the show

However, I think they released a statement on Global Media about it so it's not being a closely guarded secret. Feeds should be back to normal.

Since Ramsey won veto and took himself off the game goes forward with a replacement nom as per normal. Ramsey not going to jury so that will be a decision as the jury will now be an even number of 8. Maybe the final 9th jury vote will be Canada's?

Well I wrote this before they made the statement. If Ramsey had left and was monitored then returned I could see BBCAN making no mention of it. Especially since feeds were down and anytime they make a mention of Ramsey they cut it.

They could decide to split the brothers.
