Why did Arisa give Phil/Nick a chance to change their minds?

Nick says "We nominate ourselves". Shocking? Sure. But Arisa should have immediately said "Fine sit down on the block" instead she says "Are you sure?" and gives them a quick second to talk about it? I mean, COME ON, even Nick wanted an extra 30 seconds. Give me a break. At no other time has a host on BB asked any HoH if they were "sure" about their noms.

Does Arisa get no training on what to do in various situations?

Its obvious they weren't really going to do this. It was just fun tv that the brothers wanted a few seconds of fame.

I look at it like those Comedh movies where the weak person wants to fight the big guy but makes sure his friends hold him back to intimidate the other guy. Doesn't want their friends to let him go cause he'd get beaten up.

It is obvious that they DID mean to nominate themselves. They had promised on a stack of Bibles that they would never, ever nominate Joel. Their only other choice was Kelsey and she was giving them the stink eye and I am sure that at some point they promised never to nominate her. As they said, there is no way to maintain their integrity and keep from breaking their word other than to nominate themselves.

But, the producers didn't want to risk two non-Canadians in the finals.

Whatever they did I hope Joel gets pissed that Cassandra used the veto and put him in jeapordy. Maybe what they did had Joel trust them.

God, if they had nominated themselves and left right after Jared it would have been the best thing ever. I don't get why audiences were hoping they wouldn't, when even their TV edits have shown them to be awful players and deeply annoying, idiotic guys.

The brothers are spineless wimps trying to act like bada$$es.

I loved how Cassandra was laughing her a$$ off in the DR during her vote LOL That laugh describes the brothers to a tee!
