Didn't buy them as being in love

They seemed to have more of a friendship than a love connection, IMO. I didn't really buy them as a romantic couple. It was ok for a tv movie, but kind of dry and dull, maybe that's why the coupling didn't work for me. Can't believe some people liked this better than 50 First Dates, that movie was far superior and the leads had great chemistry.

Hmm really?? I actually made a comment to my BF that I thought they had great chemistry and we are definitely far from Teeny Bopper age. They were more tender and tentative with other another as opposed to being bold and brash, I thought it was more on the sweet side. But definite chemistry there.
