How did Spud know they were in the pub at midnight?
Near the end of the movie, Begbie takes Veronika's phone and texts Renton and Sick Boy to meet at the pub at midnight. Shortly after they both arrive, Spud also arrives to try and warn them it's a trap. But how could he have known the time and place of the meeting? Begbie sent a text rather than making a voice call, and anyway Spud had already left when Begbie sent it.
