His character "Tommy" died in Trainspotting. So, I doubt he'd appear in the sequel.
You never know, though. Anything is possible.

Not only was he is identified as being HIV positive - but we all attended his funeral too. The Cat did it!

He didn't die in the book (the funeral in the movie and the story about the cat happened to someone else). But in the sequel book Tommy is referenced as having died.

He didn't die in the book, but he did say that he was HIV positive. By the time of Porno, he was dead.
