With very rare exception (one to be exact...Fargo), TV series based on movies don't work, and now every semi-decent movie needs to get an awful TV show. Enough! I'm furious enough Snatch is getting the TV treatment, please don't let Trainspotting suffer the same fate. It wouldn't be the same without the original cast

Considering Trainspotting, Skagboys and Glue are episodic and take place over many years with many prospectives from different people (especially trainspotting), a TV series actually works since you can have arcs.
shareI really want to agree, but at the same time, as long as it was done very well, I wouldn't mind a Glue or Trainspotting TV series. As long as it's not some dumbed down network show or something.
