Juice Terry?

Those that have read the book will be aware that juice Terry plays quite a large role in the books sequel, but he's not listed in the films cast.
My question is, who's cock is going to get bent out of shape? I'd immediately think spud, but then the only reason that Terry was in a position to get his cock bent out of shape was the fact that he was lead role in the porno, and I can't see spud being lead role in a porno material.
It'll probably be spud, anyway. In the original book it wasn't spud who emptied out of every orifice into his girlfriend's parents guest bed, it was Davey, irrc. But spud got lumbered with it in the film. Poor spud.
Interestingly, what made that scene worse in the book was finding out later that davey was riddled with AIDS. So the contents of the sheets thrown around the parents kitchen were: pish, sh**t*, vomit, spunk (according to the prose in the novel), and the HIV virus. Just what you want for breakfast.

Boyle has already said recently, that this film doesn't use any of Porno for its plot.

It uses elements of it though. Sick Boy owning a bar, Begbie getting out of prison, Spud still being a hopeless drug addict, and apparently the girl Renton has with him is named Nikki.

I'd love to see Juice Terry in it, but I'd be very surprised if they use any of the Glue characters.

I love the little connections between Welshs stories, via characters. I remember begbie getting a brief mention in one or two (I'm thinking "marabou stork nightmares" and "a smart ¢úñt", but ive not read them in years), so it feels like all his stories are set in the same Irvine Welsh universe, and it's a shame that we've not seen more of his work transferred to film successfully, because I think that crossover of characters could have been cool. But "the acid house" was a bit ropey, and I didn't think too much of "ecstasy" either. "Filth" I definitely enjoyed, and it would have been great to see some interaction between Bruce and Begbie, either through some dodgy collaboration, or Bruce nicking Begbie.
I actually think glue could have made an epic film, I'm the right hands, great book.

I agree. I've read most of his books, I love seeing a character you love from one book show up in a chapter or two of another. I wish they would have made a Glue movie, I loved that book almost as much as Trainspotting. I'd love to see some of them interact in T2.

I'd love to see Juice Terry turn up in the film but I don't think he'll appear. He's not really a significant character to the plot and since he wasn't introduced in the previous movie they can easily write him out.

Agreed with your sentiments about Glue. It's my favorite Irvine Welsh novel and it would make a great film. Might be a hard to cram all of that material into two hours though, so maybe it would work better as a Netflix miniseries or something.

That would be amazing.
