Nicely put....
shareQuietly looking forward to it but hesitant as well,The problem it will have is that the original is so definetive of the time of mid 90's youth culture woven in and how it used music of the era (I was 16 at the time)so brilliantly, now they are all middle age and dare I say it probably live very boring lives that energy of youth is gone, hope it's not too dowdy but I just don't think lightning will strike twice given how high expectations will be when it lands in the new year,I just hope the script is on a similar level and that it's a solid drama but it won't outdo the iconic original, also interesting to see if it will be aimed at my generation and the gap of 20 years it has brought about to this now 36 year old or will it try to speak to a different audience like George Lucas did with the Phantom menace and ignored the original fans?
shareI feel excited.
I hate most of new movies, they are just so shallow, so forgettable... Also, too much superheros and their crap. Or comedies with no actual humor.
I am looking forward to T2, Twin Peaks and Gilmore Girls on TV. Not much, but it is something.
Let's give this thread a little bump for others to see.
shareEerie, really eerie.
Can't, I'm afraid. Matinee of Le Miz. Christ, I'll call you.
