if Renton had died hanging. I really thought they were gonna go there when he was dangling, i would have left the film feeling very different and as much as i love Renton i do think it would have made a good ending although i did love the ending they stuck with.

Would support the advice given to heroin addicts not to go back to their old heroin circles.
I did live the final shot, but really I think the story was overall a bit too much of a 'happy ending'. Renton being killed by Begbie would have been great really, and much more of a meaning.
