Trying to figure out whether or not im gunna be disappointed after having loved the first one so much. Can somebody tell me what it's actually like? The reviews are not much of a help considering theyre so split at the moment. It was the same way with shutter island and I ADORED that movie. Critics were split. So, what I'm asking is, is it good? Is it gunna be an audience favorite as so many movies end up becoming 5 years down the line? The metascore is totally unhelpful. Also please refrain from giving me the entirely old and incontrovertible use of "see it for yourself". Please. Just don't. You're boring.

Yes is good. Personally i loved it and thought it was exactly what a sequel should be like. If you loved the original youll love seeing these characters again, past & present.

It's good, some great scenes and overall the plot is what you'd expect but for me the ending was very anticlimactic, cast were all good except for the main girl in it I thought she was shockingly wooden can believe Boyle cast her. Direction and cinematography are excellent but the script lets the film down at times, it's good I'd give it 7/10 but it's not a patch on the original.

It's good. Saw it for second time last night. Don't go in expecting Trainspotting or you may be disappointed. I was getting irritated at the kind of slow start, then told myself it cannot possibly be Trainspotting and saw the film for what it was...An excellent emotional rollercoaster of film. Just as funny, just as heartbreaking, just as shocking, but in a different way.
