I heard that a director who had done some great movies in the 90's was back after years of rubbish movies, and there was a link to Unbreakable ?

I don't see it myself.

There's an after-credits sequence of Samuel l Jackson recruiting Renton into a secret organisation. that's also why the book was called Porno ... u know, because XXX

Bruce Willis comes out of the toilet at the end. Was a nice touch, changed the whole context of the film.
