Fav scene
Mark and Sickboy singing in the Loyalist bar.
shareThe Sickboy and Renton fight and him squirting ironbru in his face.
shareBegbie watching them dance to Run DMC in the club. So funny.
shareThere were a few ones that stood out. The "Choose life" scene, the bit at the end with Renton dancing in his old bedroom, Begbie's final scene with his family, the bit in the toilet where Begbie and Renton have that shocking moment of realisation, Begbie reading Spud's story about his father.
If at first you don't succeed, you're not Chuck Norris
Great sequel. Loved it from start to finish and, consequently, it's so hard to isolate a favourite scene. Hmm . . . I would say it's a tie between the very end scene with Mark in his old bedroom and the toilet cubicle scene.
shareWhere Ewan McGregor is in a pub speaking to Veronika, Ewan has a lengthy ‘Choose life’ monologue. It’s full of energy and totally brilliant!
shareWhen Renton kicks down the door and rescues Spud I was nearly in tears. Missed you man!
share1. The toilet scene where Mark and Begbie realise who is in the next stall
2. The "No more catholics" song and resultant 1690 pin scene (modern day classic scene)
3. The final shot with Mark dancing in his room
4. Mark on the roof of the car with Begbie chasing to "Two Tribes"
5. Gail telling Spud she has a title for his stories
I could go on...
I liked the scene where Mark and Simon called each other on their respective *beep* ups; Mark selling a hit to Tommy, Simon neglecting his daughter. It was very raw, they haven't seen each other in decades but know each other inside and out so can be that harsh to one another and still carry on.
