We see it in the trailers but do they have a brawl in the beginning of the movie? I guess Simon gets a little vengeance and then they make up? What happened?

Sickboy just suddenly starts to smash Renton's face in with the pool cue while they are speaking.
They fight all over Sickboys pub while the patrons look on, smashing the place up. Eventually Sickboy manages to smash Rentons face in to the side of the pool table at speed, knocking him out. It's quite a brutal scene.
Then he is just fine later on. Seriously the hit looked like it should have killed him.
Save up some money and go to the cinema and watch it yourself instead of coming on here and asking that, you tightfisted old beast. Pathetic beyond words asking that.

Yes they fight. It's pretty realistic in that they look ridiculous, like when Hugh Grant and Colin Firth fight in Bridget Jones. Ridiculous when normal characters fight like professionals.
