At first I was wondering if it's about there being too much free speech? The media are controlled by a few people who spend millions telling many what they should think for only the few at the top to gain, and I expect they can pay websites to close down anywhere people might still have free minds.
I sometimes wonder if the celeb industry is being used to dumb down society, where you can't even read a news story any more without there being a sidebar saying to care about the attention seeking schemes of talentless celebs. Managing to get many to admire idiots worse than themselves.
Then I started reading messages and they seem to have more users who fill every comment section online no matter what the subject with their whinging on about women this, women that, and crying about how they feel threatened by feminists, and everything that's wrong with the world is because of women. Free speech is threatened by those types who see a chance to ruin free and intelligent speech into an excuse to whinge on against women, since all the women they know offline have taken out injunctions to be free of their abuse, so they feel online is only place they can force anybody to listen to them.

Sorry, in retaliation of what, T2 Trainspotting being made?

Although I had my concerns, I thought they did a fantastic job.

nothing to do with T2 trainspotting..... im talking about the IMDB shutdown of message boards. i thought maybe hurting the traffic data on their sites would dent them, but prolly not.

Ahh, fair enough then. Yea, I totally agree, the boards are far and away the most useful part of the site. As soon as they go, so do I.

No, I'm not. Although I won't have any reason to use it. If Amazon starts sending offers to the email tied to my IMDb account I'll be deleting it after the first one.
