ER with lifeguards

Interesting how this show is from John Wells, the producer of ER, and also features a set of characters who work in emergency situations. Would be interesting if the series is a vehicle for ER reunions or set in the same universe.

Lifeguards are basically there for emergencies. Nicer setting than a hospital.

reply

Yeah, and it’s interesting since there was an episode of ER where Dr. Mark Greene goes to Hawaii.

I never watched ER. I'm already losing interest with Rescue. I need more scenery on beach and Hawaii, surfing, boating, local culture and jet skis - not whiny lifeguards complaining about personal issues.

ER is an incredible show with compelling drama both in the lives of the main doctors and the patients they treat each episode.

I'm sure it's good, but I watched so many doctor and cop shows in the past that I'm looking for something completely different now.

I'd watch a TV dramatic show about surfers traveling the world looking for the perfect world.

If you are looking for a show with good, well-developed characters I recommend Lost

reply

Aargh!!!!

I watched Lost for the first few seasons, but they refused to answer mysteries/questions so I gave up. Very poor writing when Abrams admitted he didn't believe the show would go past the first season so he never created answers for the mysteries. I remember switching from Lost to Heroes which was good in the beginning, but eventually became repetitive and boring.

Best written show with well-developed characters was "Succession". A complete masterpiece. Great from beginning to end.
