If you are looking for a Christmas slasher to watch this season, don't bother with this. The general idea is fun, but the execution is total trash. Aside from a couple of decent kills, there is no tension and the attempts at humor all fall flat. Bad performances (Justin Long was incredibly annoying in this) and even for such a short runtime it felt like it dragged on forever. Also, it's another movie with forced gay characters in it just for diversity sake. Don't waste your time.

Yeah, the shame of it is the movie really writes itself. Scream meets It’s a Wonderful Life. But there is zero tension. The performances all feel cheap, like the actors are in a Febreeze commercial.

I agree. Definitely a cool premise. Just not the best execution. But I've seen way worse horror movies out there.
