It's the new trend in art house movies. They are Looooonnnngggg. I blame Blue is the Warmest Color for starting the craze of the 3 hour movie. I liked it in Blue but depending on the film it can be a little off-putting, at least to see in a theatre (no intermissions for bathroom breaks).
