Painfully Average
The entire movies purpose is to set up for McAvoys psychotic performance. Everything up to that point is a lot of filler. Its hard to root for any of the characters, as they are bland (outside McAvoy). Of course they use the same ol' struggling couple trope, with one character receiving dick picks and the other too pussy to leave.
Id give this one a 5.5/100. Its not really even a slow burn with all the REALLY bad comedy inserted in.
Never saw the original, ive wanted to. But after knowing the story now, no point.
