I watched the original - Not Wifey safe. It would disturb her too much and not be enjoyable for her(SPOILERS)

She saw the trailer of the American one and wants to see it.
Is there still the 'child stealing/tongue amputation' and 'parental naked death by stoning' in it?
Or has that been stripped out?

Major spoilers The American one still has the stolen boy with his tongue cut out as part of it, but the girl does not end up stolen or de-tongued. Her parents are not stoned or killed in the American version, they survive and rescue the boy.

WOW so a different movie then. Kinda loses its edge I would think. Not that I enjoyed those things, but it was part of the story.
