I'd give the original a 6.5/10. This one was a 4/10

It's pretty much a shot for shot remake until the third act. They turned in it into a much more generic and less disturbing movie than the original, I guess so it wouldn't upset audiences? Really didn't care for the changes and felt like it cheapened the movie. McAvoy was good, but other than that this was just a waste of time. Stay home and stream the original this weekend.

Agreed, the original is much better. I did enjoy this one but it does pale in comparsion to the original, this was too safe.

Original 9/10
Remake 6,5/10

I agree with you. Most people will maybe like the second version better because it is more funny and you get more answers.
But the first one is more horror and will also shock you more.
