No-one seems to know who she is, but her supreme arrogance and ignorance is really galling. I'd just like to know who she is, so I can research her credentials as a historian. That is even if she IS one. Heck, she's probably Jada Pinkett-Smith's mother for all I know!
This reminds me of a Louis Theroux documentary where he visited a group of Black militants/supremacists who declared that pretty much every historical figure of significance, including Shakespeare, was 'Black'. The only figure they refused to recognise as such, was Christopher Columbus (who, being Italian, was somewhat more likely to have Black blood than many of the other, often Northern European, individuals they claimed).
There's nothing wild about that. These baboons have the worst history in humanity. To this day, they've never invented, discovered, created or written anything substantial or world changing. Because of White Altruism, we're now faced with having 4.5 billion of these useless, violent parasites by the end of this century.
Did you watch the film? Is there an old woman in it who says this? Is it like a talking head type situation? Usually such people are credited/given an identity.
I think that is Shelley Haley, she is in the list of cast.
According to wikipedia:"Shelley P. Haley is the Edward North Chair of Classics and Professor of Africana Studies at Hamilton College, New York, and President of the Society for Classical Studies. She is an expert in applying Black feminist and critical race approaches to the study and teaching of Classics."
She and Debora Heard are the only 2 in the cast have academic credentials, Debora Heard is a Ph.D. Candidate in Anthropology specializing in Nubian Archaeology at the University of Chicago.

People can believe and say what they want. I suppose it's her prerogative to view Cleopatra as a Black woman, seeing as she is "an expert at applying Black feminist...approaches to the study and teaching of Classics."
My issue is the definitive proclamations being made here (i.e. "Cleopatra *was* Black"). How dare people make definitive statements on something they have zero proof for, and for which the evidence, on balance, indicates otherwise.
It doesn't matter whether or not she's a historian, or what degree she has, or what college she teaches at. She's a deranged fool who doesn't know what the hell she's talking about.
