Actually the budget on this one is more than 3 times the budget of the first.

First one was 3 million, this one 10.

It just proves that studio executives are absolute IDIOTS: they didn't even want to green light the first one, they forced the director to change the ending (so we get the stereotypcal "BOO!" ending like all sh!tty horror movies of these days) and then they spent 3 times more money to make a sh!tty sequel than no one asked for.

THIS is what is wrong with Hollywood.

i doubt it. i mean ethan hawke's salary for the first movie had to be over 3million. the actors were a lot cheaper this time. i dont see how the budget could have been more.

Budget isn't the problem when you end up with (unintentionally) hilarious botched scenes like RUTABAGA! RUTABAGA!
