the daugther from the first movie (ashley)
was she one of ghost in this movie?
shareNo, neither Ashley nor any of the ghost kids in the first one are in this one. The only character to appear in this film from the first movie is Deputy So&So. A lot of people think the little red haired girl from the second one is Ashley and it's not, that little girl's name is Catherine, I don't even see how they could get them confused, they look absolutely nothing alike. So no, Ashley is not in this one. :)
shareAccording to the trivia on the movie, you're wrong.
Aside from Ashley, none of the dead children from the first Sinister film are seen in the second. Instead they are replaced with a whole new batch of kids and snuff reels. It's implied that the children from the first Sinister were annihilated when Deputy So-and-So burnt down all the houses.
I'm not wrong, this site is like Wikipedia, anybody can edit the Trivia and say it's her. I know what ashley looks like and that's not her.
shareActually, it's NOT at all like Wikipedia. Submissions get verified before they're posted. So then I guess her IMDb page is wrong as well because it lists her as being in the movie.
shareShe could very well appear in the cast because of the photos of her on So and So#s notice board. On my DVD both the Oswalt family and Stephanie appear in the cast list because their photos in the second film
'I like the way you made the movies longer. They're better that way.' Sinister
ok have a nice day
shareWell, you were right, in your answer to the OPs question. She's not one of the ghosts kids in the movie.
And I really don't count being in a photo on Deputy So&So's wall as "being in the movie", but I guess she and the others from the first film get listed in the credits for it none-the-less.
Oh, and in case anyone's wondering, not everything on IMDB is verified. IMDB does have mistakes. http://www.imdb.com/help/show_leaf?infosource
People do get casted if their image appears in a movie, I have seen it before
'I like the way you made the movies longer. They're better that way.' Sinister
I thought that was Ashley in the end who comes out of the darkness and hands him her film... didn't it say Housepainting on the tin?
