With one hand free and the other holding the camera can over power 2 grown ups and a child his own size and get them running from him in terror .
Where's the logic in that can't they have easily over powered him or did he gain some sort of super power i really don't get it .
That scene was absurd and funny.
Also getting hit by a car and getting up like nothing happened ok ??
This movie made no sense. In the first film theres implication that Baghuul possesses the kids when they kill their families, giving them the super strength to set up the executions. In this one its not really clear where Zach gets his powers.
If Ari Gold saw Chappie he would say:
"Chappie makes Elysium look like Citizen ƒvcking Kane"
That was my thought --- they had help from Baghuul.

I don't think he recieved any special powers, but the Deputy, Courtney and Dylan followed everything on the do NOT do list of horror movies:

Run UP the stairs instead of out of the house
Split up
Try hiding behind a shower curtain
Forgo grabbing any of the rifles or weapons the dad had in his house
Do not grab any feasible weapon whatsoever; knife, gold club, lamp, glass
Forget there are three of them and one of him, a child no less
Spilt up when you think it's all over

The kids drug the parents and siblings usually with drinks. In both movies you see the kids give them drinks before they kill them
