Would've been as good as the original! (spoilers)

If they didn't use that retarded ending that had no link to the rest of the movie! The ham radio randomly appearing in the hotel room and saying "deputy" with Bughuul appearing is stupid! Now, at least, I know the writers can't end a story.

How they SHOULD have ended Sinister II:
Ex-Deputy So and So saves Dylan and the mom and returns to his hotel room. Upon arrival to retrieve his things, he hears a noise coming from the bathroom and sees Bughuul standing behind him in the mirror. Instead of checking again to see if Bugy is still there, he books it and gets back into the car and they leave without looking back.

My personal ending; leave a comment what your opinion is.

Or how about Dylan turns out to be the evil one after all, and he kills the deputy and his Mom after they think they are safe. Then the ghost kids appear and say "We made the right choice!" Roll end credits.

Personnel398: You nailed it! That is the EXACT ending I told my husband after the movie ended. That would have been so much better than what they did.

Your idea was good, but I quite liked the radio just being there. It seemed to be a clear creepy message. "You stopped me, but you haven't stopped me". So and So would have been horrified, and it could have ended with him running away in terror or a close up on his horrified face, then a slow close up on the radio and cut!

Bit more subtle and (dare I say it?), Sinister than Bughuul just going "BOO!" Exact same thing that ruined the perfect ending of the first film. That final second.

The difference between a debate and an argument is one is noble and one is idiotic. Chose wisely.
